Blacksmithing on the Road

Blacksmithing on the Road

For the last 18 months my wife Hannah and I have been living out of our RV camper, while towing our blacksmith shop along behind us. We would set up shop out in the desert, random pull outs, rest areas, and even a few secluded campgrounds. It was a wild and fun way to live, but now we are transitioning to a different stage of our lives. We are in the process of purchasing our first home, just north of the beautiful Adirondack mountains of New York.

The house has a detached two car garage that I am going to turn into my new blacksmith shop. I'm so excited to have all the extra space, although it will take a lot of work to turn it into the shop i envision in my mind.

We plan to purchase some power tools to help us with the blacksmithing work. I am currently shopping for a power hammer as well as a forging press. With those tools I hope to both lower my prices as well as expands the products that I have for sale.

You can subscribe at the bottom of the page to our email newsletter where I will periodically update you with the exciting (to me at least) process of creating a functional and profitable blacksmith shop. I will also inform my email subscribers of new products and discounts. Comment with any products that you would like added to the store!
